I am excited to announce that I am having a solo show at Cabell Gallery this September. The show will feature a series of watercolor landscapes inspired from weekend trips taken this spring in and around Lexington, Virginia, where the gallery is located. The opening reception is on Friday, September 1st from 5 - 7pm, during the town's First Friday Art Walk and will be displayed through the entire month of September. If you happen to be headed up to the mountains for some cooler weather, please stop by and take a look.
Cabell Gallery is located on 5 W. Washington St. in historic downtown Lexington, Virginia. They feature a variety of regional artists working in oil, pastel, watercolor, printmaking and sculpture. If you fancy exploring the town, there are several other art galleries, boutiques and restaurants within a couple blocks, as well as the campuses of Washington and Lee University and the Virginia Military Institute.
For a full list of activities, shops, restaurants, hotels, and more I recommend you visit either Lexington's official website or lovelexva.com. For the most current information on First Friday events, you can go to their facebook page.
To hear more about Cabell Gallery and the artists they represent check out their website.
The preliminary images for the show are already uploaded on the website- click on the tab titled "Lexington". There are several smaller pieces that did not make the cut, but will be available for purchase if anyone is interested (you find a good portion of them by scrolling through my instagram gallery). In the meantime however, I am looking forward to seeing y'all in September!
